COMPONENT LIFE LIMITS
1. General
A. Different components and parts of the aircraft are certified for specific service life. On reaching
this life limits, these components must be replaced with new components or with ones which
have life remaining.
For monitoring the permissible service life the installation or removal of each item must be
recorded in the aircraft logbook.
2. Component Life Limits
A. Under specific circumstances the replacement of parts or components may be required before
attaining the life limits as listed below.
B. For parts whose service life is limited by permanent load action, precise replacement times are
defined. By the process of fatigue tests and their results, the component life limits may be
changed. These changes will be announced by STEMME in such cases.
C. Replace the components shown in the following table, on or before reaching the applicable life
limits:
