(10) Check all other hoses and pipes, as well as all gaskets and seals for fire damage.
(11) Replace damaged items.
(12) Install engine cowling (refer to 72-10-00).
(13) Perform an engine test run (refer to 05-20-00).
D. Violent Stop of the Engine
In event that the propeller was touching ground or the engine was inadvertently stopped
violently (shock loading) the engine with the propeller gear box must be disassembled and
inspected by an authorized workshop.
CAUTION: ONLY QUALIFIED TECHNICIANS (AUTHORIZED BY AVIATION AUTHORITY
AND AFTER SUCCESSFUL ATTENDANCE OF THE RELEVANT ROTAX
TRAINING COURSE) ARE AUTHORIZED TO PERFORM THIS WORK.
Check additional equipment (external alternator, hydraulic governor, ignition unit, coolant and oil
hoses) for damage.
