Before installing, make sure the grass box has been properly attached to the metal grass
collection box frame via the clips around the mouth of the box.
Lift the rear discharge door. While holding the door open, place the grass collection box with
handle side up into the grooves under the hinge of the rear discharge door, making sure that the
hooks rest properly inside their respective grooves. After stopping, lift the rear discharge door,
take the grass collection box away.

4.4 FIRST-USE
WARNING! READ THE “SAFETY INSTRUCTION” SECTION AT THE
BEGINNING OF THIS MANUAL INCLUDING ALL TEXT UNDER
SUBHEADING THEREIN BEFORE USING THIS PRODUCT.
Pay particular attention using the machine for the first time: focus and dedicate all your
attention to this first use. Make the first trial on a free space with no obstacle and no surrounding
element.
4.5 OPERATION
BEFORE AND AFTER EACH USE, CHECK THE PRODUCT AND
ACCESSORIES FOR WEAR AND DAMAGE. IF REQUIRED, EXCHANGE
THEM FOR NEW ONES AS DESCRIBED IN THIS INSTRUCTION
MANUAL. OBSERVE THE TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS. CHECK THE
LEVEL OF THE FUEL AND ENGINE OIL BEFORE EACH USE, ADD THE
FUEL AND THE ENGINE OIL IF IT IS UNDER THE LOW LEVER.
Firmly hold the handle with both hands when mowing. Do not try to cut long grass all at once.
Instead, mow the lawn in steps. Leave a day or two between
mowings until the lawn becomes
evenly short. When mowing at the edge, be sure to face the left side of the machine toward the
edge, and then move the machine along the edge.
WARNING : if you strike a foreign object, stop the motor. Thoroughly inspect the mower for any
damage and repair the damage before restarting and operating the mower. Extensive vibration
of the mower during operation is an indication of damage. The mower should be promptly
inspected and repaired.

5. TRANSPORTATION
WHEN STORING ANY TYPE OF POWER EQUIPMENT IN AN
UNVENTILATED OR MATERIAL STORAGE SHED, CARE SHOULD BE
TAKEN TO RUST-PROOF THE EQUIPMENT. WE RECOMMEND USING
THE ORIGINAL PACKAGE FOR STORAGE OR COVERING THE PRODUCT
WITH A SUITABLE CLOTH OR ENCLOSURE TO PROTECT IT AGAINST
DUST. BE CAREFUL NOT TO BEND OR KINK CABLES.
The engine must have completely cooled down before storing the lawnmower.
Transporting the machine may require that you meet certain requirements specific to your
country. Please make sure to respect them by contacting the authorities of your country, in
order to respect them all.
empty the fuel tank according to the instructions in the engine manual. If not, the fuel could
flow down and soiled the floor of the vehicles. Attach transportation guards, if applicable.
Always transport the product by its handle. Ensure not to bend or damage the cutter when
pushing the lawnmower over obstacles. Protect the product from any heavy impact or strong
vibrations which may occur during transportation in vehicles. Secure the product to prevent it
from slipping or falling over, damage and injury. Ensure temperature during transportation will
never be out of temperature range given on chapter storage.
6. WINTERING & STORAGE
WARNING ! DO NOT TOUCH ROTATING BLADE.
6.1 STORE THE MACHINE
Let the machine cool for 2 hours outside before storing it. Be sure to secure the unit while
transporting. Examine the unit thoroughly for worn, loose or damaged parts. Clean the product
before storing.
Only store the machine in a clean, dry, ventilated place with a temperature range of 4°C to
24°C. Cover it in order to provide added protection. Do not expose the product to sunlight. Make
sure the product is always protected from cold and humidity. We recommend using the original
package for storage or covering the product with a suitable cloth or enclosure to protect it
against dust.
