10.4 Power supply

Carry out all electrical connection and installation work
in accordance with relevant regulations.

Material losses
The specified voltage must match the mains voltage.
f Observe the type plate.
The appliance is supplied fully wired (with a mains plug), but it is
also suitable for permanent connection.
10.4.1 Connection to a socket
!
Material losses
The power cable must not hang in front of the air dis-
charge.
f Wind up any surplus power cable and stow it in the
cable compartment at the back of the appliance.

f Insert the power plug of the appliance into a suitable socket.
10.4.2 Permanent connection
WARNING Electrocution
In the case of a permanent connection, the appliance
must be able to be separated from the power supply by
an isolator that disconnects all poles with at least 3mm
contact separation.

Material losses
f Trim the power cable so it leads directly to the appli-
ance connection socket.
f Ensure that, after trimming the power cable, the
appliance can still be removed from the wall without
problem.
!
Material losses
This appliance is unsuitable for fixed electrical cables.
f Trim the power cable by cutting off the plug.
f Connect the power cable to a suitable socket.
11. Maintenance

Material losses
The power cable may only be replaced (for example if
damaged) by a qualified contractor authorised by the
manufacturer, using an original spare part.
