5.4 Sensor installation
Connect all necessary sensors to the appliance before
commissioning.
Note
An outside temperature sensor is not required. The
WPMheat pump manager transmits the outside tem-
perature to the WPEheat pump extension.
5.4.1 TAFPT immersion/contact sensors
Subject to requirements, install the sensor as a contact or
immersion sensor.
Installation as a contact sensor

Clean the pipe.
Note
The recesses on the retaining clip dier in size.
Press the smaller recess of the retaining clip into one of
the sensor notches.
Press the larger recess of the retaining clip onto the
sensor.
Apply heat conducting paste to the sensor.
Secure the sensor with the retaining clip and the cable tie.
Installation as an immersion sensor

The immersion sensor is required for the sensor well in the
buer cylinder.
Press the spring downwards. The spring is used for xing
the sensor in the sensor well.
Apply heat conducting paste to the sensor.
Push the sensor into the sensor well.

6. Closing the front fascia

Hook the front fascia into the top of the appliance.
Press in the bottom of the front fascia.
Secure the front fascia with the screw at the bottom.
7. Commissioning
Note
An overview and descriptions of the adjustable param-
eters can be found in the commissioning instructions
for the heat pump manager.
Only qualied contractors may make adjustments to the WPE,
commission the appliance and instruct the system user in its
use.
