pointsofchainbrakewithSTIHL
multipurposegreaseor,
preferably,Molykotegrease-
see11.2.
-Fromserialnumber
X28310255,installtheflat
spring.
-Uptoserialnumber
X28310254,fitthecamlever.

Attachspringtocamlever(open
sideofspringhookfacing
outwards)andslipitoverthe
pivotpin
•
Insertthebellcrankinthesideof
thehandguardsothattheshort
armofthebellcrankpointsto
topofhandguard.
•
Positionthehandguard(1)
againstthepivotpinandfitthe
othersideofthehandguard
overthehousing.
•
Positionthebellcrank(2)
againstthepivotpin.
•
Pressthecamlever(3)slightly
downwardandpushthehand
guardandbellcrankontotheir
pivotpins.
•
Checkthatcamleverorflat
spring(1)isproperlylocatedon
face(2)ofhandguardbearing
boss.
