  If the "CHAIN OIL" LED glows red on your Stihl Cordless Saw, it means there is insufficient bar and chain oil in the tank, or the bar and chain are not receiving oil. Try filling the chain oil tank. If the LED still glows, have the chain saw checked by an authorized STIHL servicing dealer.
