MS 200 T
Dirty air filters reduce engine power,
increase fuel consumption and make
starting more difficult.
If there is a noticeable loss of engine
power:
: Press down the throttle trigger
interlock and set Master Control
lever to cold start l
: Turn twist lock on carburetor box
cover counterclockwise – slot
vertical.
: Lift off the carburetor box cover
vertically.
: Clean away loose dirt from around
filter.
: Pull off filter (1).
: Remove the foam element (2).
: Unscrew the nuts (3).
: Remove the filter base (4).
: Separate the two halves of the filter.
: Wash the filter in a clean, non-
flammable solution (e.g. warm
soapy water) and then dry.
Do not clean flocked filters with
compressed air, a brush or cloth.
: Always replace damaged filter
elements.
: Reinstall the air filter.
Exhaust emissions are controlled by the
design of the fundamental engine
parameters and components (e.g.
carburation, ignition, timing and valve or
port timing) without the addition of any
major hardware.
