 Attach spring (1) to the pivot pin.

 First attach the brake band (2) to
the brake lever (3) and then push
it into the slot in the crankcase.
 Install screw (1) with Loctite 243
and tighten it down firmly
– see 3.5.

 Turns of brake spring must be
tightly against one another in the
relaxed condition. If this is not the
case, replace the brake spring.
 Check correct position of
protective tube:
a = 30 mm

b = 40 mm
 Hook the brake spring (1) to the
brake lever (2).

 Use the assembly tool
1117 890 0900 to attach the
brake spring (1) to the anchor pin.
Assemble all other parts in the
reverse sequence.
