Attach spring (1) to the pivot pin.

First attach the brake band (2) to
the brake lever (3) and then push
it into the slot in the crankcase.
Install screw (1) with Loctite 243
and tighten it down firmly
see 3.5.

Turns of brake spring must be
tightly against one another in the
relaxed condition. If this is not the
case, replace the brake spring.
Check correct position of
protective tube:
a = 30 mm

b = 40 mm
Hook the brake spring (1) to the
brake lever (2).

Use the assembly tool
1117 890 0900 to attach the
brake spring (1) to the anchor pin.
Assemble all other parts in the
reverse sequence.
