Cleaning the door seal and glass (after each wash)
After each wash:
• Wipe the glass and seal to remove lint and stains.
A build-up of lint can cause leaks.
• Check for coins, buttons and other small objects in
the seal creases (Fig. 20) and remove them.
• Leave the door slightly ajar so the inside can
dry properly. This will also help prevent the
development of mould or odours.
Cleaning the detergent dispenser (when required)
The detergent dispenser may be removed for cleaning (Fig. 21).
• Pull open the dispenser drawer and press down the arrow tab (indicated with an the
letter A in Fig. 21-1 below) on the softener cover and pull the drawer out of its space.
• Clean the dispenser drawer thoroughly under running water (Fig. 21-2). Clean the
recess with a small brush (Fig. 21-3).
• Wipe all parts dry with a clean cloth, then reinstall the drawer back into its space.
• NOTE: Do not use any solvents, alcohol, harsh chemicals, alkaline or abrasive
cleaning agents, or sharp objects, to avoid damaging the surface.
