2�3 Components of conservatory shades
The components of conservatory shades are described in the
following.
Guide rails

The guide rails (fig. 5) made of powder-coated
aluminum profiles guide the fabric panel through
an interior rope system. The guide runners ensure
smooth and even movement of the fabric panel.
A gas-pressure mechanism keeps the fabric pan-
el taut.
Box and drop-out profile

The box profile and drop-out profile (fig. 6) of the
shade are comprised of powder-coated aluminum
profiles. In a closed state, the two components
form a closed box in which the fabric panel on the
fabric shaft is protected against weather.
