2�4 Components of pergolas
The components of pergolas are described in the following.
Frame
The frame (fi g. 9/1) is comprised of powder-coat-
ed, lightweight aluminum profi les. The box pro-
fi le is fi rmly anchored to the wall, while the sup-
ports are fastened to the ground with foot brack-
ets. Depending on local conditions, the frame can
also be mounted to the wall or ceiling.
Water drainage
Rainwater drains from the taut fabric panel either
through the water eyelets (PERGOLINO) or into
the gutter on the drop-out profi le.
