5.5 Assembling the lithotripsy solid probe
WARNING
Inadequate assembly! Risk of injury!
If an impact is triggered, the projectile can escape from the guide tube and injure the patient,
user, or third party.
Only connect the product to the control unit when fully assembled.
WARNING
Incorrect assembly! Risk of injury!
The function of the lithotripsy solid probe is only guaranteed together with the distally applied
damping unit.
Attach the damping unit distally to the lithotripsy solid probe.
1. Unscrew the conical cap from the handpiece.
2. Insert the lithotripsy solid probe with the damping unit through the cap.
3. Screw the cap onto the handpiece.
ð The proximal end runs into the drill hole in the handpiece.
4. Push the silicone tube onto the connector of the handpiece as far as it will go.
5. Connect the silicone tube with the compressed air inlet.
The lithotripsy solid probe must be replaced after a maximum of five applications.
