Lever Type Conditioning Arm Changes:
If the lever type conditioning arm is used, 5696 is now the correct value for
Calibration/configuration variable 129, "Prog cond counts per inch".
If the lever type conditioning arm is used, 18.44 is now the correct value for
Calibration/configuration variable 155, "Lever arm force at F.S. (lbs)".
The calibration limits for calibration/configuration variable 125, "Prog cond park
position" have been increased to +/- 15000 counts.
Added calibration/configuration variable 74 "Cond force amp offset (lbs)"
This is a "zero" adjustment and can be used as an alternative to the amplifier mounted
trimpot adjustment. Use the following procedure if you want to use this variable instead
of the amplifier's zero adjustment:
1) Set the condition force units in the Conditioning/Cleaning menu "lbs" if not
already set that way.
2) Record the value in variable 71 "Cond force dead weight (lbs)" and then set it to
0.
3) Make sure there is no force whatsoever on the condition force load cell.
4) Add any error seen in the "Cond (force)" value displayed in the status area to
whatever is currently in variable 74. The "Cond" display should now read zero.
5) Re-enter the original dead weight value (recorded in step 2) into variable 71.
6) Return the condition force units in the Conditioning/Cleaning menu to "psi" if it
had been changed to "lbs".
Additional reference information:
Lever arm servo setup information for the INIT1.DAN file is:
Proportional gain - 20
Derivative gain - 100
Integral gain - 50
Integral limit - 200
Acceleration - 2500
Homing velocity - 100000
(Software versions up to 4.15 contain servo initialization values only for the lift
type arm requiring editing of INIT1.DAN if the lever type arm is used.)
