6 - RUN AN AUTO POLISH CYCLE
Select the Auto Polish Cycle Menu and run an auto cycle:
Operator Action Explanation/Screen Display
1. <F9> Press the F9 key to choose “Select
Menu”.
2. <F1> Display the Auto Polish Cycle Menu
by pressing the F1 key to select “Auto
Cycle”.
3. <START> To start the cycle, press the black
<START> button, located on the
control panel.
The bridge will move into position, and the programmed cycle
will begin. When the cycle is finished, the bridge will return to
the load position.
Note: Load chuck rinsing does not occur during table
pad conditioning.
4. Wait for the cycle to finish.
5. Open the Elevator Access Operator Door.
6. Raise the cassette sensor arms and remove the cassettes from
both the send and receive elevator sides.
7 - REMOVE CONDITIONING DEVICES FROM SPINDLES
To remove the conditioning devices from the spindles:
• Follow the procedure for Removal of Carriers from Spindles,
found above in this chapter.
8 - AT THE MACHINE PARAMETERS MENU, SET AUTO CYCLE
OPERATION TO AUTO
At Page 1 of the Machine Parameters Menu, select Auto Cycle Operation and
choose Auto.
