2 - 6 U Version 4.0 - February 1998; Update 11/06/01
4. Use a FORKLIFT to lift the machine from the pallet.
The machine’s cabinet base frame consists of metal channels along
the front, the back, and the two sides, as well as a central channel
from front to back near the machine’s centerline. These channels
provide structural support to the machine’s framework.
WARNINGS:
Refer to engineering drawings 217946U3 and
217946U4 for center of gravity.
When using the forklift to lift or move the machine from the
FRONT SIDE it is IMPERATIVE that the forks EXTEND TO
THE REAR CHANNEL.
When lifting from either one of the two sides, the forks must
reach the CENTER CHANNEL.
Failure to observe the above procedures when lifting or moving
the machine may result in machine damage and/or injury to
personnel.
5. Place the heater/chiller unit adjacent to the machine as is
convenient.
If the Vacuum Station option is purchased, the unit must be
securely attached to rigid flooring due to its aspect ratio.
