ADDITIONAL EMERGENCY OFF BUTTONS
The 6DS-SP is equipped with a minimum of four EMERGENCY OFF
pushbuttons. Additional buttons may be added, depending upon customer
specifications.
If the Mobile Remote Unit (SA 219187) is connected to the 6DSSP, the Mobile
Remote E.M.O. can be temporarily bypassed from the E.M.O. circuit for up to
thirty (30) seconds. During the temporary thirty (30) second bypass of the
Mobile Remote E.M.O. circuit, the Mobile Remote Unit E.M.O. button WILL
NOT BE OPERABLE! However, all other machine E.M.O. buttons WILL
remain operable.
Note: The bypass is made by depressing the 30 Second Timerpushbutton
with the yellow lamp next to the rotary switch on the Control Select
Panel at the rear of the machine. This is used only for the purpose of
connecting/disconnecting the Mobile Remote Units circular connector
plug to/from the 6DSSP without causing a machine E.M.O. A yellow
lamp on the pushbutton lights when the timer is counting down from
thirty (30) seconds to timeout, to alert operators that the Mobile Remote
E.M.O. is disabled during that thirty (30) second period. If additional
time is required, depressing the pushbutton at any time immediately gives
an additional thirty (30) seconds of bypass time.
For further information on emergency off, cycle halting, and cycle interruption,
see the Operator Functions and Troubleshooting chapters of the 6DS-SP
Operations manual.
