2. At the Diagnostics Menu, select View Inputs to read the status of Input
25 (Brush Up).
GOAL: Input 25 should display ON.
a. If the input is on, skip to When Satisfactory Adjustment Is
Achieved, below.
b. If the input is off, correct it by following the adjustment procedure
in Section C., immediately below.
C. ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURE
1. At Page 2 of the Manual Control Menu, select Cond Arm Up/Dn and
choose Down to lower the arm.
2. Press the <EMERG OFF> button on the control panel to turn power
off to the machine.
3. Using a Phillips screwdriver to release the latch, unlatch and remove the
right front service door.
4. Locate and adjust the arm up switch, mounted on the inner right wall of
the machine cabinet near the arm assembly:
a. Using a 1/2-in. open end wrench, loosen the 5/16-in. lock nut on the
switch lever by rotating it counterclockwise.
b. Manually lower the switch lever arm by one notch.
Note: One notch moves the end of the lever approximately 1/8-in.
c. Retighten the lock nut by rotating it clockwise.
5. Replace the service door and tighten the fastener to firm.
6. Power up the machine by pressing the <MACHINE ON> button on the
control panel.
