B. CHECK CURRENT CALIBRATION
1. At the Auto Polish Menu, select Park Cond to move the conditioning
arm to its park position.
2. At the Diagnostics Menu, select View Inputs to read the status of Input
22 (Brush Arm Park).
GOAL: Input 22 should display ON.
a. If the input is on, skip to When Satisfactory Adjustment Is
Achieved, below.
b. If the input is off, correct it by following the adjustment procedure
in Section C., immediately below.
C. ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURE
1. Press the <EMERG OFF> button on the control panel to turn power
off to the machine.
2. Using a Phillips screwdriver to release the latch, unlatch and remove the
lower right end service door.
3. Locate and adjust the device park reed switch, mounted on the side of
the linear actuator in the upper right hand portion of the cabinet area
behind the terminal strip bracket and below the table pan:
a. Using a 5/64-in. hex key, loosen the switch set screw by rotating it
counterclockwise.
b. Manually slide the switch .1 in. toward the front of the machine.
c. Retighten the set screw by rotating it clockwise.
4. Replace the service door and tighten the fastener to firm.
5. Power up the machine by pressing the <MACHINE ON> button on the
control panel.
