9. Lower the left and right spindles:
a. At Page 2 of the Manual Control Menu select Left Spindle
Up/Down and choose Down to lower the left spindle.
b. Select Right Spindle Up/Down and choose Down to lower the right
spindle.
10. Check the positioning of the left load station:
GOAL: • The carrier should be fully seated inside the white
carrier retaining ring
and
• you should be able to see only the edge of the white
carrier retaining ring.
a. If the goal is met, skip to the Shuttle Forward Reed Switch
Adjustment, below.
b. If the goal is not met, using a straight edge placed vertically against
the edge of the carrier and the load ring and a precision rule,
measure at front and rear to determine the correction required.
c. Adjust by performing the Forward Stop Adjustment, immediately
below.
C. ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURE
Forward Stop Adjustment
1. Close the Left Side Operator Door.
2. Raise the left and right spindles:
a. At Page 2 of the Manual Control Menu select Left Spindle
Up/Down and choose Up to raise the left spindle.
b. Select Right Spindle Up/Down and choose Up to raise the right
spindle.
3. At Page 1 of the Manual Control Menu, select Bridge Move and choose
Pol tbl 1 to move the bridge to polish position.
4. Turn OFF the facilities water.
