11. Check to see if the right cleaning station is centered under the spindle by
measuring the horizontal gap between the carrier and the cleaning ring
with a scale.
a. Measure at front and back.
b. Record the measurement and direction of each gap.
GOAL: Gap = .0625 in. (1/16 in.).
c. If either gap is not equal to .0625 in., adjust by performing the Rear
Stop Adjustment, immediately below.
d. If both gaps are equal to .0625 in., skip to the Shuttle Rear Reed
Switch Adjustment, below.
C. ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURE
Rear Stop Adjustment
1. Close the Left Side Operator Door.
2. Select Right Spindle Up/Down and choose Up to raise the right spindle.
3. At Page 1 of the Manual Control Menu, select Bridge Move and choose
Pol tbl 1 to move the bridge to polish position.
4. Turn OFF the facilities water.
5. Open the Left Side Operator Door.
6. Disconnect the water line to each cleaning station (located at the front
of each cleaning station) by loosening each water line fitting with a
9/16-in. open end wrench.
7. Using a 9/16-in. socket head wrench, remove the four hex head bolts at
the base of each cleaning station by rotating them counterclockwise.
Set all eight bolts aside.
8. Lift each cleaning station up and out of the machine.
