Remove Table Pad and Clean Table
1. Lift and remove the white plastic splash ring from the table.
2. Use a plastic scraper to raise one edge of the pad.
3. Peel the pad off by rolling to the opposite edge.
4. Discard the used pad.
5. Clean and dry the table with a soft cloth:
a. Feel the table by hand for adhesive residue.
b. Remove remaining residue with mild solvent.
c. Dry with soft cloth.
Turn Machine Power On and Perform Home Sequence Routine
Follow the procedures detailed in the Operator Functions chapter of the 6DS-SP
Operations manual.
Move Bridge to Polish Position
• At Page 1 of the Manual Control Menu select Bridge Move and choose
Pol tbl 1 to move the bridge to its polish position.
B. CHECK CURRENT CALIBRATION
1. Clamp the dial indicator to the right spindle ball.
2. Secure the indicator on a 5-in. radius from the spindle shaft center.
3. At Page 2 of the Manual Control Menu, select Right Spindle Up/Down
and choose Down to lower the right spindle.
4. Adjust the indicator linkage to allow the indicator stylus to touch the
table.
5. Select Right Spindle Speed and enter 2 to rotate the spindle at
approximately 2 RPM.
