4. While watching the monitor screen, slide the switch actuator bar up or
down in the slot as needed until the switch is tripped.
GOAL: Input 1 should be ON when the spindle is in its up
position.
Note: The spindle must still be in up position.
5. When the goal is met, retighten the 5/16-in. bolt by rotating it clockwise
to snug.
6. Go on to the Right Spindle Up Limit Switch, immediately below.
RIGHT SPINDLE UP LIMIT SWITCH
Repeat the procedure for the Left Spindle Up Limit Switch, making the
following substitutions:
• At the Diagnostics menu, check for Input 3.
• Find the upper limit switch and switch actuator for the right spindle,
located at the front of the upper bridge and nearest the right spindle.
D. WHEN ADJUSTMENT OF BOTH LEFT AND RIGHT UP
SWITCHES IS SATISFACTORY
1. Reinstall the bridge covers.
2. Close all doors to the machine.
3. Following procedures detailed in the Operator Functions chapter of the
6DS-SP Operations manual, power up the machine and perform the
home sequence routine.
4. Go on to the Left Spindle Down Limit Switch, immediately below.
