4. Raise the spindles:
a. At Page 2 of the Manual Control Menu select Left Spindle
Up/Down and choose Down to lower the left spindle.
b. At Page 2 of the Manual Control Menu, select Right Spindle
Up/Down and choose Down to lower the right spindle.
5. At Page 1 of the Manual Control Menu select Shuttle Move and choose
Front to move the shuttle to its forward position.
6. At the Diagnostics Menu, select View Inputs to read the status of Input
17 (Shuttle Forward).
GOAL: Input 17 should display ON when the shuttle is in its
forward position.
a. If the screen displays 17-OFF, go to Step 7. to begin the reed switch
adjustment.
b. If the screen displays 17-ON, skip to the Table Rear Reed Switch.
7. Open the polish and elevator operator doors.
8. Move the shuttle to its rear position, exposing the forward reed switch,
located at the end of the table travel air cylinder nearest the front of the
machine:
• At Page 1 of the Manual Control Menu select Shuttle Move and
choose Rear to move the shuttle to its rear position.
9. Adjust the switch position:
a. Using a flat blade screwdriver, loosen the clamp screw securing the
switch by rotating it counterclockwise.
b. Estimate the direction of correction required and move the switch
1/8 in. by sliding the switch band on the cylinder.
c. Retighten the clamp screw.
10. Close the operator doors.
