3. At the Diagnostics Menu, select View Inputs to read the status of Input
51 (Second Table Unlock) and Input 52 (Second Table Unlock).
GOAL: Digital inputs 51 and 52 should be ON when the second
table polish position unlocking inputs are engaged.
Notes: INPUT 51 = the left unlocking cylinder
INPUT 52 = the right unlocking cylinder
a. If the screen displays 51-OFF or 52-OFF, go to Step 4. to begin the
reed switch adjustment, below
b. If the screen displays 51-ON and 52-ON, skip to Reinstallation of
the Load Chucks, Table, and Subtable, below.
4. Open the polish area operator doors.
5. If needed, adjust the position of the left unlocking cylinder reed switch,
mounted on the front of the locking cylinder at the cylinders left end:
a. Using a small flat blade screwdriver, loosen the clamp screw
securing the switch by rotating it counterclockwise.
b. While watching Input 51 at the Diagnostics screen, slide the switch
on the cylinder until the input comes ON.
c. Retighten the clamp screw.
6. If needed, adjust the position of the right unlocking cylinder reed switch,
mounted on the front of the locking cylinder at the cylinders right end:
a. Using a small flat blade screwdriver, loosen the clamp screw
securing the switch by rotating it counterclockwise.
b. While watching Input 52 at the Diagnostics screen, slide the switch
on the cylinder until the input comes ON.
c. Retighten the clamp screw.
7. When the goal is met, go on to Reinstallation of the Load Chucks,
Table, and Subtable, below.
