C. ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURE
1. At the Calibration/Configuration Menu increase/decrease the value of
variable 14, Bridge left curtain position, in increments of .1 inch or
less as needed to meet the goal:
WARNING: The value for the bridge left or right
curtain position variable is always negative.
A positive number may do severe damage
to the machine!
Notes: • Changing the value of variable 14 while the bridge is in its
left curtain position via the Manual Control Menu
automatically repositions the bridge to the new location.
• The spindles must be UP before the bridge can be moved.
a. Increase/decrease the variable value as needed to meet the goal.
b. Reevaluate the bridge position by repeating Section B., above, and
repeat the positioning adjustment, changing the variable value in
smaller increments as needed.
c. Repeat checking and adjusting until the goal has been met.
D. WHEN A SATISFACTORY ADJUSTMENT IS ACHIEVED
1. Go on to the Right Curtain adjustment, below.
RIGHT CURTAIN
Repeat as for left curtain, making the following substitutions to duplicate the
bridge curtain position calibration procedures for the right curtain position:
1. At the CALIBRATION menu:
15 = BRIDGE RIGHT CURTAIN POSITION
variable
2. Substitute right for left in the text of the procedure.
