8. Evaluate the position by determining the CALCULATED OFFSET:
Note: The left side and right side measurements should be within
0.030 in. of equal, indicating the bridge is centered over the
second polish table.
CALCULATED = Left Side Measurement - Right Side Measurement
OFFSET
Example:
CALCULATED = 4.5 - 4.0
OFFSET
CALCULATED = - 0.5
OFFSET
GOAL:
The CALCULATED OFFSET should be less than 0.030
in.
If the CALCULATED OFFSET is greater than 0.030 in., adjust the
calibration as shown in the Adjustment Procedure section below.
If the CALCULATED OFFSET is less than or equal to 0.030 in., the
adjustment is complete.
C. ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURE
1. At the Calibration/Configuration Menu, read the value for variable 16,
Bridge table 2 position.
