Strasbaugh Software Calibration Procedures
Version 4.0 - February 1998 10 - 47
Notes:
• Increasing the value of the variable (making it more positive) moves
the arm toward the center of the table.
• Decreasing the value of the variable (making it more negative) moves
the arm toward the right side of the machine.
• Note that changing the value of variable 125 while the arm is in its
park position via the Manual Control Menu automatically repositions
the arm to the new location.
4. Check and adjust, if needed, the conditioning arm home position switch
such that the switch (Input 22, Brush Arm Park) displays on when the
arm is park position.
Note: Refer to Conditioning Arm Switch Adjustments, Brush Arm
Park (Home) Position in the Mechanical Adjustments chapter
of this manual.
5. At the Sweep Parameters Menu, set the Inner position to 7 inches (a
medium position).
6. At Page 2 of the Manual Control Menu, select Cond Arm Up/Dn and
choose Up to raise the arm.
7. Select Cond Arm Move and choose Inner to move it to the inner
position. (This will cause the arm to move to the variable 126 position.)
8. At the Calibration/Configuration Menu increase/decrease the value of
variable 126 as needed to position the center of the conditioning device
exactly 7 inches from the table center.
GOAL:
