Maintenance Model 6DS-SP Planarizer

b. If the arm position does not meet the goal, proceed to Adjustment
Procedure, immediately below, to correct the positioning.
D. ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURE
The Summary immediately below provides an overview of the procedures for
coordinating the correction of linear and radial positioning by adjusting the
related pairs of calibration variables.
Summary of the Position Correction Sequence
1. Choose the axis position of greater error.
2. Correct the positioning of that axis by changing the value of the
calibration variable for that axis.
3. Recheck the position of the just corrected axis.
4. If needed, repeat changing the calibration value for further correction.
5. When the goal for that axis has been met, evaluate the position of the
axis of lesser error.
6. Correct the positioning of the axis with the position of lesser error by
changing the value of the calibration variable for that axis.
7. Recheck the position of the just corrected axis.
8. If needed, repeat changing the calibration value for further correction.
9. When the goal for that axis has been met, reevaluate the position of
both axes.
10. Repeat the entire sequence as needed until the goal is met for both the
linear and radial positioning.
11. When the goal has been met for both axes at all four elevators, go on to
At the Load Stations, below.
