B. CENTER THE LOAD STATIONS UNDER THE SPINDLES
Note: Lowering the spindles and applying a small amount of down force
centers the load stations automatically.
1. Load carriers on the spindles:
• Follow the procedures detailed in the Operator Functions chapter of
the 6DS-SP Operations manual.
2. At Page 1 of the Manual Control Menu, select Bridge Move and choose
Load to move the bridge to the load stations.
3. At Page 2 of the Manual Control Menu, select Left Spindle Up/Down
and choose Down to move the left spindle down to the load station.
4. At Page 2 of the Manual Control Menu, select Right Spindle Up/Down
and choose Down to move the right spindle down to the load station.
5. At Page 2 of the Manual Control Menu, select Left Spindle Force and
enter 3 to change the force to 3 psi.
6. At Page 2 of the Manual Control Menu, select Right Spindle Force and
enter 3 to change the force to 3 psi.
7. Select Left Spindle Force and enter 0 to change the force back to 0 psi.
8. Select Right Spindle Force and enter 0 to change the force back to 0 psi.
9. Select Left Spindle Up/Down and choose Up to move the left spindle
back up.
10. Select Right Spindle Up/Down and choose Up to move the left spindle
back up.
11. At Page 1 of the Manual Control Menu, select Bridge Move and choose
Pol Tbl 1 to move the bridge to move the bridge back to polish position.
