2. Evaluate the Back Pressure status screen value:
GOAL: If back pressure is displayed in “psia”, the back pressure status
screen value should equal 14.7.
or
If back pressure is displayed in “psig”, the back pressure status
screen value should equal 0.0.
a. If the status screen back pressure value displayed in psia does not
meet the goal, go to Section B., below, to make corrections.
b. If the status screen back pressure value displayed in psig does not
meet the goal, go to Section C., below, to make corrections.
c. If the status screen value meets the goal, skip to When Satisfactory
Adjustment Is Achieved, below.
B. CORRECTION FOR BACK PRESSURE DISPLAYED IN PSIA
1. At the Calibration/Configuration Menu, read the current value of
variable 66, Left back pressure offset.
(Variable 68 = Right back pressure offset.)
Example: 0.4
2. Calculate the new calibration value for the left back pressure offset
variable in psia:
NEW = Current Value + (Desired Status Display - Status Display)
CALIBRATION
VALUE
Example:
NEW = 0.4 + (14.7 - 15.5)
CALIBRATION
VALUE
NEW = 0.4 + (-.8)
CALIBRATION
VALUE
NEW = -.4
