6. Locate the E-P regulators mounted at the right rear of the machine (as
you are facing the rear of the machine) in the lower right area of the
electrical box.
The left spindle regulator is attached to the transducer tube labeled 9.
The right spindle regulator is attached to the transducer tube labeled
13.
Note: Refer to Drawing # 217946EM, located in the Appendices of
the 6DS-SP Maintenance manual.
7. Using a small flat blade screwdriver, remove the cover from the top of
the left spindle regulator, exposing the span trimpot.
Do not permit debris or particles of any sort to enter the opened
regulator!
8. At the Diagnostics Menu, select Change Counter and enter 12 to choose
Left Spindle E-P Regulator.
(Right Spindle E-P Regulator = 13)
9. Enter a value of 0 for counter 12, setting psi to minimum.
10. Disconnect tube # 9:
(# 13 - right)
a. Locate the tube extending from the regulator labeled # 9.
b. Depress the fitting and detach tube # 9 from the regulator.
11. Insert the 100-LB pressure gauge and T fitting between the regulator
and tube # 9.
