LOAD CURRENT CALIBRATION
The Model 6DS-SP Planarizer is equipped with current sensors for the polish table
drive motor and both the left and right spindle drive motors. The current sense is
input directly from the servo amplifier unit and received by the control computer
through analog input channels. The analog signal is converted by the ADC to a
digital value. A software subroutine determines and writes the current value to the
monitors display screen.
CALIBRATION VARIABLES SET DURING THIS PROCEDURE
36 Left spindle current offset
Nominal value: 0
The "zero" calibration for the left
spindle "Load" value in the status
variable area of the display. If the
displayed load value (in amps) is
not zero with the spindle stopped,
add the negative of the error to the
existing value in variable 36.
46 Right spindle current offset
Nominal value: 0
The "zero" calibration for the right
spindle "Load" value in the status
variable area of the display. If the
displayed load value (in amps) is
not zero with the spindle stopped,
add the negative of the error to the
existing value in variable 46.
