B. ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURE
1. Calculate the new calibration value for the Left Spindle Current Offset
variable:
NEW = Current Value + LEFT SPINDLE LOAD Value
CALIBRATION (from screen) (from status area of screen)
VALUE
Example:
NEW = 1.0 + (- 0.9)
CALIBRATION
VALUE
NEW = 0.1
CALIBRATION
VALUE
2. Enter the new value for the variable 36, Left spindle current offset.
Example: 0.1
C. TEST THE NEW ADJUSTMENT
1. Repeat the Check Present Calibration section (above) to check the new
adjustment.
2. If needed, repeat the Adjustment Procedure section (above).
D. WHEN A SATISFACTORY ADJUSTMENT IS ACHIEVED
When a satisfactory adjustment is achieved, go on to the Right Spindle Current
Offset.
RIGHT SPINDLE CURRENT OFFSET
Repeat as for the Left Spindle Current Offset procedures, making the following
substitutions:
1. At the Calibration/Configuration Menu
46 = RIGHT SPINDLE CURRENT
OFFSET
2. Replace left spindle with right spindle where appropriate in text.
