6. At the Calibration/Configuration Menu, read the current value of
variable 34, Left spindle dead weight.
Example: 135.3
7. Calculate a new value for the left spindle dead weight variable using the
following formula:
NEW = Old Dead Weight Value - AVERAGE
CALIBRATION (from screen) ERROR
VALUE (from above)
Example:
NEW = 135.3 - 3.5
CALIBRATION

NEW = 131.8
CALIBRATION

8. At the Calibration/Configuration Menu, enter the new calibration value for
variable 34, Left spindle dead weight.
Example: 131.8
9. Repeat Steps 3. through 8., above in this section until the goal is met for the
ten test values (50, 100, 150,...500).
F. WHEN A SATISFACTORY ADJUSTMENT IS ACHIEVED
1. At Page 2 of the Manual Control Menu, select Left Spindle Up/Down and
choose Down to move the left spindle down.
2. Select Left Spindle VAC On/Off and choose Off to turn vacuum off.
3. Select Left Spindle Up/Down and choose Up to move the left spindle up,
leaving the Load Cell Carrier on the table.
4. Open the Polish Area Right Side Operator Door.
5. Remove the Load Cell Carrier, the Sensotec Portable Indicator, and the shim
block.
6. Close all doors to the machine.
