Read and Record the Actual Temperature of the Chilled Water
At the temperature control unit, read and record the temperature displayed.
Example:
Actual Temperature: 20 degC
TEMPERATURE IN OFFSET
A. CHECK THE CURRENT CALIBRATION
1. At the Calibration/Configuration Menu, enter a test value of 1 for the
temperature in scale factor variable, variable 5, Temp in scale factor.
Example: 1
2. Read and record the value of the Cooling Water Temperature In display
in the screen status area:
Note: The left of the two columns is cooling water in.
COOLING WATER
Flow
I/O 22.7 23.2 degC
3. Compare the Actual Temperature (from the temperature control unit
display) with the screen status area display for Cooling Water In:
GOAL: The Actual Temperature must be equal to the
COOLING WATER TEMPERATURE IN status screen
display.
Example: 20 _ 22.7
If the goal is met, skip to the Temperature Out Offset section (below).
If the goal is not met, make the needed adjustment by following the
steps in the Adjustment Procedure section (below).
