UPWARD MOTION
B. CHECK CURRENT ADJUSTMENT
1. Remove the Lower Right Front Service Door to provide access to the
conditioning arm assembly, located beneath the polish table.
2. Locate the two adjustment knobs of the conditioning arm assembly
up/down cylinder.
Rotate each knob counterclockwise fully to open the in-line flow
regulators.
3. Remove the Left Front Service Door to provide access to the valve panel
located inside the lower left front of the machine cabinet.
4. Find the pneumatic regulator positioned under Solenoid 9 of the valve
panel located inside the Left Front Service Door.
Rotate the adjustment screw of the regulator counterclockwise 10 turns.
5. Replace service doors.
6. Following procedures detailed in the Operator Functions chapter of the
6DS-SP Operations manual, power up and home the machine.
7. Observe motion while the arm rises:
a. At Page 2 of the Manual Control Menu, select Cond Arm Up/Dn
and choose Up to raise the arm.
b. Note the arm motion:
GOAL: The arm rises slowly and smoothly (doesn’t bang).
If the goal is not met, correct the motion by following the
procedures in Section C., immediately below.
If the goal is met, skip to Downward Motion, below.
