C. Adjustment Procedure
1. At Page 1 of the Manual Control Menu select Bridge Move and choose
Pol tbl 1 to move the bridge to its polish position.
2. Turn the machine power to OFF by pressing the red <EMERG OFF>
button located on the Control panel.
3. Remove the stainless steel bridge covers:
a. Using a ladder to reach the top of the machine, locate the two
latches of the left side cover, one at each side.
b. For each latch, push in, lift up, and rotate as needed to release.
c. Lift off and set aside.
d. Repeat for the right side cover.
e. For removal of the front and rear bridge covers, use a
5/64-in. hex key to remove the 6-32 button head screws securing
each cover.
4. Climb up on top of the machine and locate the spindle down flow
controls.
Notes:
• The air cylinders are mounted at the rear of the bridge near the
electrical box.
• At the base of each air cylinder is one flow control.
5. For each spindle, adjust the flow control:
a. If the spindle comes down too quickly, adjust the flow control 1/2-
turn clockwise.
b. If the spindle comes down too slowly, adjust the flow control 1/2-
turn counterclockwise.
c. If one spindle comes down faster than the other, approximate an
adjustment to cause the spindles to move equally.
6. Confirm that all personnel are out of/off the machine.
7. Close/replace all doors to the machine.
