- The appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) whose physical, sensory or mental
incapacity or lack of experience and knowledge prevents its safe use, unless they have been supervised or
instructed in the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Take care of the children to ensure
that they cannot play with the product.
- Keep the appliance out of the reach of children under 3 years of age, unless you are constantly supervising the
children.
- Children older than 3 years and younger than 8 years of age can only switch the appliance on and off provided
that it is placed and installed in its normal operating position, if children are supervised or instructed in the safe
use of the appliance and understand the possible dangers of using it.
- Children over the age of 3 and under the age of 8 must not plug, regulate, clean or maintain the appliance.
- Only place the dehumidifier on a firm, level surface! Keep a minimum distance!
Observe safety instructions that may be country-specific! Do not place the
dehumidifier near a heater. The radiant heat can damage the appliance!
- Before connecting the appliance to the power supply, make sure that the voltage
in your electrical socket corresponds to the information on the rating plate of the
appliance.
- Check that the power cord is not damaged. If it is, have it replaced by an
authorized service center to avoid danger.
- Unwind the power cord completely!
- Do not use an extension cord or splitter socket to connect the appliance to the
power supply!
- Do not run the power cord through the appliance or under carpet, doormat, etc.! Position it so that it does not
even come out of the drawer and so that no one can stumble upon it!
- Do not use the dehumidifier with a programmer, timer, stand-alone remote control system or any other device
that can turn it on automatically.
- Do not use the dehumidifier to dry food or works of art.
- Do not use the appliance in areas where there is a risk of fire or explosion!
- Do not use the dehumidifier in motor vehicles or in narrow, enclosed rooms (<5 m2, e.g. lift)!
- It is FORBIDDEN to use the appliance near a bath, washbasin, shower, swimming pool or sauna!
- Do not cover the air outlet and inlet openings!
- Make sure that no object or liquid enters the device through the openings.
- Always disconnect the dehumidifier from the power supply before cleaning it or if you will not be using it for
a long time. Never unplug the appliance by the power cord when it is switched on and your hands are wet or
damp. Make sure the power cord is not damaged.
- Always disconnect the dehumidifier from the power supply before moving it! Only move the dehumidifier by
grasping the portable handle!
- Do not use accessories not recommended by the manufacturer. Using the wrong accessories can endanger the
user and seriously damage your device.
- In the event of any fault (e.g. unusual noise or burning smell), switch off the dehumidifier immediately and
disconnect it from the power supply!
- Protect the dehumidifier from dust, steam, sunlight and direct heat radiation!
(*) Authorized service: The manufacturer's or importer's service department or another person who is
qualified, authorized and qualified to perform this type of repair. The heater must be handed over to such a
service center in the event of a repair.
