CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Unplug the appliance before cleaning it.
- Thoroughly clean the dehumidifier after each use. If dirt cannot be removed, use a soft cloth dampened with
soapy water. Never use cleaning agents or solvents such as benzine, alcohol, ammonia, etc.! These solvents
can damage the plastic parts of the product.
- Check your device regularly and, if you find that some parts are worn or damaged, replace them as a
precaution for your own safety. Worn or damaged machine parts may only be replaced by an authorized
service center or replaced by the dealer.
- Make sure that original spare parts are used.
Air filter cleaning
- Caution Ensure that the air filter is not worn or damaged. The corners and edges of the air filter must not be
deformed and rounded.
- Before refitting the air filter, make sure that it is undamaged and sufficiently dried!
- The air filter must be cleaned immediately in the event of visible dirt (otherwise cleaning is required once a
month of use)! Contamination of the air filter is manifested e.g. reduced appliance power.
1. Remove the air filter from the device
2. Clean the filter with a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth. If the filter is heavily soiled, clean it with warm
water mixed with a neutral detergent.
3. Allow the air filter to dry completely. Do not insert a damp filter into the device.
4. Insert the air filter back into the device

- CAUTION Improper storage or transport may damage the device.
Follow the information on transport and storage of the device.
TRANSPORTATION
- Please note that additional transport regulations may apply for the transport of appliances with flammable
refrigerant.
- Observe the following instructions before each transport:
• Switch off the appliance.
Never unplug the appliance by pulling the power cord.
- Only store the device in a room larger than 4 m2.
- Only store the device in areas where there is no source of ignition (e.g. open flame, switched on gas appliance
or electric heater).
- Protect the appliance from frost and heat.
- Store in an upright position, protected from dust and direct sunlight.
- To prevent damage, do not place any other devices or objects on the appliance.

appliance. Before contacting an authorized service center, try the instructions below.
