Holder
The
automatic
Hill Holder
retains
t
he
same
degree
of
braking
effort on
an
upgrade
as
that
applied
by
the
driver
in
stopping
as long as
the
cl
ut
ch pedal is de
pr
essed.
The
Hill
Holder
d
oe
s
not
opera
te
on level or descending
surf
aces.
However,
the
clutch
pedal
must
be depressed
before
re
-
lea
sin
g
the
brake
pedal.
This
permits
the
ri
ght
foot to
be
re
moveri
fr
om t
he
brake
pedal
to
operate
the
ac
c
elerator
when
ready
to
resume
f
or
w
ard
mo
tio
n. Rele
asing
the
clutch
pedal
re
leases
the
action
of
the
Hill Holder.
To use
the
Hill Hol
der
when
st
oppi
ng
on an
upgrade
,
depress the clutch
peda
l and
then
apply foot
br
akes. The
ri
ght
foot may now he
re
moved f
rom
the
brak
e pedal. To
release Hill
Holder
acti
on, release
the
clutch
peda
l.
Hill Holder is · special

The

is
a
fresh
air
heating
and
ven
til
at

stem
.
Fresh
air
passes
through
an
air
duct
and

through
the
Climatizer
heater
core.

water
is cold
and

handle is

ion,
the

ermostat

its

full flow
of
water
into
th
e hea
ter
co
re
until
t
he
temperature
at
the
thermostat
unit

ust above
the
accele
rator
pedal)
