ate qu antit ies with a damp clo th, sponge, or soft
brush. Remove soap suds wit h a clean, damp clo th or
sponge,
then wipe the surface se veral times with a dr y
cloth. While the
materia l is st ill da mp, brush it lightly
with a whisk broom or b rush of medium stiffn{,!ss. P erm it
air
to circulate freely ov er th e wet upholstery. When dr y,
brus h aga in to loosen an y mi nu te ma t ting. Wh en brushing,
a lways b ru sh fabr ic with th e lay of the pile or nap.
Cleaning Leather Upholstery
Le at her upholstery may be cle an ed w it h a soft sponge ·

nd s ad dle soap. Make a light su ds with luk ewarm water
an d saddle soap. This typ e of so ap is especially suit able for
cl ean ing lea ther an d leaves the su rfac e soft and pliable.
Rinse the sponge occasionally
in cle an water. After
co mpleting the cleaning op er ation, use a clean, soft clo th
to poli sh the su rfac e of the le ath er.
