Figure 12. Fan/Motor Replacement
7. Slide fan assembly to edge of frame, using chain-fall or hoist to lift and lower assembly to the ground.
NOTE
The center of gravity may cause the fan/motor assembly to tip towards the fan wheel.
8. Unbolt four M8 hex bolts (6) at motor bottom.
NOTE
Observe the motor shaft to fan wheel taper lock hub location prior to removing the fan.
9. When replacing a fan wheel or motor, this spacing must be replicated to ensure fan wheel to inlet ring fit.
10. Reassemble by preforming steps in reverse order.
Cooling System Maintenance
NOTE
Repairs to refrigeration systems must be performed by a qualified refrigeration mechanic or air
conditioning technician.
If the Chilled Water system isn’t cooling or if cooling is reduced, check for leaks in the system. Check for
clogged water lines. If strainers are installed in the CW lines, check the condition of the strainers. Clean or
replace the strainers if necessary.
