1.Makesureallcontrolsare“OFF”andthedrop-incooktopiscoolbeforecleaning.
2.Makesurethatallcooktopsurfaces,burnergratesandburnersarecoolbeforecleaningordisassemblingcooktop.
3. Donotuseovencleaners,bleachorrustremoversonthecooktoporburnergrates.
4. Donotobstructtheowofcombustionandventilationair.
5. Cleanallsurfacesassoonaspossibleafterboiloversorspillovers.
6. Usewarmsoapywateronlytocleantheburnergrates,cooktops,paintedsurfaces,porcelainsurfaces,stainlesssteelsurfacesandplasticitems
onyourdrop-incooktop.Donotusegritoracid-typecleaners.
7. Donotusesteelwoolorabrasivecleaners.Theywilldamageyourdrop-incooktop.Useonlynon-abrasiveplasticscrubbingpads.
8. Donotallowfoodscontainingacids(suchaslemonortomatojuice,orvinegar)toremainonporcelainorpaintedsurfaces.Acidsmayremove
theglossynish.
9. Donotwashwarmporcelainsurfaces.Allowtheseareastocoolbeforecleaning.Youcouldburnyourselfortheporcelaincouldcrack.
10.Pittinganddiscolorationwillresultifspillsareallowedtoremainforanylengthoftimeonstainlesssteel.
11.Donotallowspilloverstoremainontheburnercaps.Thecapscouldbepermanentlystainedifspilloversarenotcleaneduppromptly.
12.Ifanyoftheburnerportsortheoriceareclogged,carefullycleanwithasmallwireorneedle.Besurenottoenlargeports.Neveruseawire
brushforcleaningburnerportsororice.Neveruseanybrushwhichmay“shed”bristles,whichmaybecomelodgedintheoriceorburnerports
andcauseareorexplosion.
TO REMOVE THE STOVE TOP
1.Removethetwo(2)thumbscrewsfromthesidesofthestovetop.Liftthestovetopclearoftheburnerbox.
2.Toreinstalltop,reversetheprocedure.
TO REMOVE GRATE(S)
1.Removethetop.
2. Squeezeoppositesidesofthegratetogetherandliftfreeofthedrop-intop.
3. Toreinstallgrate(s)reversetheprocedure.
