FUNCTION OF THE WINE STORAGE ELECTRONIC CONTROL SYSTEM
The following pages explain monitoring, regulating and controlling functions of the electronic control system. Signal
traces from the ICBWS-30 wiring schematic are used to show current flow for the functions being explained.
ELECTRIC SHOCK HAZARD! POWER TO THE UNIT MUST BE DISCONNECTED WHENEVER SERVICING
COMPONENTS POWERED BY ELECTRICITY OR COMPONENTS NEAR ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS. EVEN
WHEN SWITCHED OFF, AC LINE VOLTAGE IS STILL PRESENT AT THE CONTROL BOARD!
Supply Power to the Lighting System
AC line voltage is supplied to the door switch. If the switch is closed, power is delivered to the coil in the relay which
induces contact between P2 and P6 of the relay, thus allowing power to the lights (See Figure 3-15).
NOTES:
• If the display lighting system is activated, power is delivered to the lights via J3P9 and through the contact of P4
and P6 of the relay, bypassing the door switch, so the lights will be energized even when the door closed
• Initiating Sabbath Mode (covered later) interrupts power from E3 and J3P9.

NOTE: If display lighting is activated, the
door switch is bypassed via J3P9
