4-3) Installation method for PARAMAX with fan (Parallel shaft)
Be careful for injuries with sharp edges of keyways and parts.
Keep accessories together to prevent losing during installation.
Handle parts carefully to prevent damage. Avoid water and dust.
Table 10 Bolt tightening torques
Reducer installation procedure
(1) Remove bolt 1. 2. , and fan hood 3. (Fig.4).
If there is no enough space to tighten the bolt 9. ,
If the fan hood 5. and fan rotor 7. are removed,
(a) Remove bolt 4. , and fan hood 5. (fig.5).
(b) Remove bolt 6. , and fan rotor 7. (Fig.6).
(3) Install fan hood 3. to the reducer with bolt 1. 2. (Fig.4).
See table 10 for bolt tightening torque of bolt 1. , 2. , 4. , and 6. .
(c) Install fan rotor 7. to the fan hub 8. with bolt 6. .
(d) Install fan hood 5. to the reducer with bolt 4. (Fig.5).
(2) Install reducer to the installation surface with bolt 9. (fig.7).
Torque tolerance: 10%
