What does it mean if the icon “--” is lit and flashing in the temperature display of my Summit Professional FF1532B Refrigerator?
    • R
      rlamSep 15, 2025
The icon “--” is lit and flashing in the temperature display because only temperatures within the range 0~99°F/-9~37°C for FF1532B / SPR316OS / SPR627OS / FF64B / FF64BSS and the range -49~99°F/- 45~37°C for SCFF1533B / SPFF51OS / SCFF53B / SCFF53BSS / SCFF52W can be displayed. If the temperature is not within this range, the icon “--” will be displayed instead. This is normal.

Why is my Summit Professional Refrigerator not cold enough?
    • P
      Patricia McclainAug 25, 2025
If your Summit Professional Refrigerator is not cold enough, check the set temperature and adjust if necessary. The ambient temperature may require a lower setting. Avoid opening the door too often and ensure it closes completely and seals properly by cleaning or replacing the door seal if needed. Additionally, a dirty condenser or blocked ventilation opening can cause this issue; clean the condenser and clear any obstructions from the ventilation.

      Brandon GrantAug 26, 2025
If your Summit Professional Refrigerator does not operate, first ensure it is properly connected to a power supply. Next, check if the appliance is switched on. Also, verify that the circuit breaker has not tripped or a fuse has blown; if so, switch on the circuit breaker or replace the fuse.

Why does my Summit Professional FF1532B make so much noise?
    • J
      Jordan ThomasAug 26, 2025
If your Summit Professional Refrigerator seems to make too much noise, the rattling noise may come from the flow of the refrigerant, which is normal. As each cycle ends, you may hear gurgling sounds caused by the flow of refrigerant in your appliance. If temperature fluctuations occur, the contraction and expansion of the inner walls may cause popping and crackling noises. Also, ensure the appliance is properly leveled with the adjustable feet.

What to do if the alarm sounds and the temperature display flashes on Summit Professional Refrigerator?
    • M
      morrisonkyleSep 8, 2025
If the alarm sounds and the temperature display flashes on your Summit Professional Refrigerator, and the door hasn't been open for more than 60 seconds, it indicates the temperature has deviated from the set point. This could be due to opening the door too often, obstructions in the ventilation, a power interruption, or adding a large amount of food. To resolve this, avoid opening the door unnecessarily, clear any obstructions from the ventilation, and allow the refrigerator time to reach the set temperature.

Why does my Summit Professional FF1532B keep turning on and off?
    • J
      Jeffrey GilbertSep 2, 2025
This could be due to a few reasons. The room temperature might be higher than average, consider moving the appliance to a cooler place. Adding a large amount of food at once can also cause this; allow the refrigerator time to reach the set temperature. Avoid opening the door too often or not closing it properly. Also, check the door seal and clean or replace it if it's not sealing properly.
