LCD Replacement
Please follow the step-by-step instructions when you replace an SH5K LCD.
1. Shutdown Procedure:
a. Turn off the solar supply main switch (located next to the inverter or in
the switchboard).
b. Turn off the DC PV array isolator (located next to the inverter).
c. Turn off the battery circuit breaker and battery, if applicable.
d. Wait for the inverter LED and LCD to turn off.
2. Unlock and open the enclosure lid.
3. Unscrew four screws (the screw positions are shown in Figure 1).

4. See the LCD back side (Figure 3) and terminals on the SH5K (Figure 4: Figure
4).
5. Align the new SH5K LCD screw holes (Figure 3) with the SH5K screw
receptacles (Figure 4) and the 20 LCD pins (Figure 3) with the 20 pins LCD port
on the SH5K (Figure 4), and tighten the screws (Figure 2).
