3~6. Universal Serial Bus (USB) Ports
There are two USB 2.0 ports (USB0/1) and two USB 3.0 ports (USB4/5) on the I/O back
panel. These support the type A connector.
10. UID Switch and LED Indicator
A Unit Identier (UID) switch and UID LED are located on the I/O backpanel. The rear UID
LED is located next to the UID switch. When you press the UID switch, both rear and front
UID LED indicators will turn on. Press the UID switch again to turn o󰀨 the LED indicators.
The UID Indicator provides easy identication of a system that may be in need of service.
Note: UID can also be triggered via IPMI on the serverboard. For more information on IPMI,
please refer to the IPMI User's Guide posted on our website @ http://www.supermicro.com
9. VGA Port
There is one VGA port on the rear I/O panel.
2. IPMI LAN Port
One IPMI LAN port is located on the I/O back panel. This port accepts an RJ45 type cable.
1. COM Port
There is one serial communications port (COM1) on the rear I/O panel.
7~8. Gigabit LAN Ports
There are two gigabit LAN ports located on the I/O back panel (LAN1 & LAN2). These ports
accept an RJ45 type cable.
