Note 1: After you’ve enabled VMD in the BIOS on a PCIe slot of your choice, this PCIe
slot will be dedicated for VMD use only, and it will no longer support any PCIe device.
To re-activate this slot for PCIe use, please disable VMD in the BIOS.
Note 2: Intel VMD allows the user to create RAID 0 arrays without a VROC key for a
90-day trial period. After the trial period, the RAID 0 will be deleted, which could result
in data loss. In order to create an NVMe RAID, you must have a VROC key installed on
the platform. To purchase a correct VROC key from Supermicro, please refer to follow-
ing part numbers (AOC-VROCINTMOD, AOC-VROCSTNMOD, AOC-VROCPREMOD).
